So This morning I had to go to Home depot and rent a jigsaw. Why, might you ask, so I could make a precise incision in the wood under our new couch to rescue Jasons I-phone. J was ready to scrap the couch to get to his iphone and I literally had to beg him to not hack it up to pieces with our rudimentary tools. $1000 couch or $600 iphone, he was going to scrap the couch. Finally I convinced him to give me 6 hours. Just 6 hours. He was hesitant. For $19, I rented the jigsaw. Trust me it was the only way. And I succeeded. Albeit a few splinters, swear words, bruised thumbs and saw dust in the eyes later. Apparently this is making me power tool happy!
