If I am wrong in any of this, PLEASE, PLEASE correct me. There are those that tell you only a certain number will make it to heaven. This is true. There are those out there that will have you believe that ONLY 144,000 (12,000 from each tribe of Israel) will be the only ones that make it to heaven. While that is correct, what is not told is there will also be a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb in white robes worshiping the Lamb. I say this because I dont want anyone to miss their chance of getting into heaven based on this. Also, in John 3:16 Jesus states He is here to save the world. Here is the scriptures: REVELATION 7:4-17; JOHN 3:16 Others will tell you that eating certain types of meat are considered a sin because it is considered unclean by God. This WAS true. This was true back in the Old Testament in Deuteronomy 14:1-21 states what and WHY they couldnt eat certain things. However, this changes once Christ died on the cross and Peter questioned this same question. Here are the scriptures: MARK 7:14-23; ACTS 10:9-16; 1 CORINTHIANS 10:25-26; I TIMOTHY 4:4-5. Also, is you choose to eat these things Colossians 2:16. This pertains to if they claim its for religious reasons. Others tell you that you are forgiven is you confess to your sins to someone. This is true. Jesus is the ONLY ONE that forgive you of your sins. No one else has the power to do so. In the Old Testament priest, that were ordained by Christ, were the only ones allowed to go and petition for the people before God. Once Christ came and died on the cross, He gave us the direct line to pray DIRECTLY to Him and Him alone. Here are the scriptures: NUMBERS 16:5 (Priest were used to come before God and now we can go directly to Him) 1 JOHN 1:9 Some say there are Saints that you must pray to in order to have different things done. This is not true. This is not true because God tells us we are to put no other gods before Him. (EXODUS 20:3) God states He is a Jealous God. (EXODUS 34:14; DEUTERONOMY 6:15) Jesus is the ONLY ONE that can get you into heaven: 1 TIMOTHY 2:5; MATTHEW 6:7-8; JOHN 14:6 Some say you need trinkets in order for God to hear your prayers. This is not true. God warns of this as well: EXODUS 20:4-6; LEVITICUS 19:4; LEVITICUS 26;1; DEUTERONOMY 5:8-10 Others say that Jesus died and stayed dead. This is not true. These scriptures say all that is needed to say: MATTHEW 16:21; MATTHEW 17:23; MATTHEW 20:19; MATTHEW 26:61 There are others that say you need a handbook to give you instructions on how to live a Godly life. This is true. THE HANDBOOK IS THE BIBLE IT IS THE ONLY BOOK YOU WILL EVER NEED IN ORDER TO LIVE A GODLY LIFE. (JOSHUA 1:8; Revelation 22:18-19) Others say there are more than one way to enter heaven. This is not true. Jesus is the only way into heaven. (john 14:6) Some even say once saved, ALWAYS saved. This is not true. 2 PETER 3:17; 2 PETER 2:1-22; I TIMOTHY 4:1-5 There are those that say you are allowed to have more than one wife. This is not true. PROVERBS 18:22; MATTHEW 19:4: 1 Corinthians 7:2 There are those that say you need to lock yourself away from the world. This is not true. We are told in Romans that we are not to partake in what the world does, but we are to go out into the world. (MATTHEW 28: ROMANS 12:2; I JOHN 2:15; EPHESIANS 4:17-32, EPHESIANS 5:1-13 There are those that say Jesus was JUST a prophet. This is not true. JESUS AND GOD ARE ONE (JOHN 10:30; JOHN 1:3; JOHN 8:12-32) Some say there are three gods. This is not true. The term Trinity or Holy Three CANNOT BE FOUND ANYWHERE in the entire Bible yet, the term Holy One CAN BE FOUND (52) times. What name did He declare? Jesus! If they are one and His name is Jesus then the Fathers name is Jesus. Furthermore, the name Jesus means Jehovah has become my salvation. So this serves as prook that Jesus raised Himself from the dead. JOHN 10:30; LUKE 5:20-21; JOHN 8:56-59; JOHN 17:25-26 Some use the Lords prayer as the prayer they pray and claim this is how you pray. This is not exactly true or false. In Matthew, when Jesus gives the example of how we should pray, it was just that: AN EXAMPLE. He was letting the disciples know the format in how their prayers show go from that point forward. When we pray we are suppose to follow this format something like this: Hello Jesus Your name is sacred You are welcomed in this place I will do whatever your will is for the day Thank you for another day Forgive me just as I have forgiven those who have done me wrong Dont let me be tempted to sin But kept me protected and safe Because I am Yours And its Your power And Your Glory Forever. In Jesus Name Amen. Like I said it is something like that. The Lords Prayer is just a format of how He would like us to pray. If you notice, the first few verses give acknowledgment to Him, His kingdom, His name and us being willing to do His will, ALL BEFORE asking for Protection, Removal of temptation, acknowledging you are His and its His power, and glory the will keep you forever and then you finish with Thank You. What an awesome prayer. Well Thats enough right now and if God places something else on my heart, I will share. Good night/morning
