So Todd arrived home with me last night, he knew me straight away. He looked amazing put on weight, confident, in his amazing thick warm coat! He met my gang all were fine. In bed we cuddled and I remembered the overwhelming love I had/have for him, however I had this nagging feeling deep in my gut, a feeling that was so strong I never felt it before and the feeling was that although I know Todd would be loved dearly and would not want for anything it seemed wrong that I had taken him from Julie Maw his foster mummy who had grown such a bond with him and his foster daddy jimmy, not forgetting his best mate Dougal..! I just didnt know where the feeling was coming from but I knew he belonged with them! So me and Julie spoke and was over the moon Todd was going back to them, tonight they drove a 4 hour round trip to pick him up, it was great seeing them reunited and little Dougal, before Julie left she told me that her son had this extra special bond with Todd and he had begged Julie to ask if they could keep Todd, which Julie never mentioned until that moment! Seeing them reunited and Julie telling me about her son i knew that i had made the right decision the best decision for Todd..will love you forever Todd & will never forget you but you are where you belong with an amazing family! Thank you julie&jimmy for coming to get your boy & for all the help, support and fundraising you do for the CY dogs. ❤️ you both to bits xxx
