So Vishy Anand is back with a vengeance! I followed his 13rd round game a little bit..the master was defending a position with 2 pieces vs Rook ending with black. Tantalizingly balanced, perhaps ok with correct theoretical play but not at all easy.. I guess it was a position that could very easily have been messed up (especially by someone like me :D ) but with Anand it was a matter of just executing the right moves at the right time, and I watched with admiration as his rook kept his rivals bishop, knight and king all tied up, while his passed pawn kept matters just interesting, and after 91 moves and almost 6 hours, the white flag was raised. So Carlsen-Anand rematch it is!! A treat for chess lovers brewing for later this year..:D -- and to think so many doubted if Anand would even play the Candidates ever again!
