Proud of the Skin Im IN Now schools Monday Im sure I will be getting, a biography list and Yes I know You all have stated too many student choose Dr. King BUT Ittits SO MANY MORE Im asking the list be optional, yes I know tons of our youth do Not KNOW alot about the ones in the Past BUT TO ERASE AND NOT GIVE THEM AN OPTION TO CHOOSE IS WRONG... yes some of my Beautiful Black Actress & Handsome Black Actors, Directors have DONE ALOT but to send a list home saying Choose THIS IS IT! NO, thank you Bill Cosby, thank you Janet Jackson, thank you Spike Lee, thank you Oprah Winfrey, but I would prefer mines explain something about Fredrick Douglas... for an example and to yes let the kids see the pictures of Mammies *hate to type the word but overheard it come from you* YES they will laugh and mock alot of the older day pictures/images BUT if you do NOT teach them they WILL NEVER KNOW that ITs NOT FUNNY!!! and if you INSIST ON UPDATED PEOPLE then again I prefer Mines Write about what they KNOW and my choice would be their GRANDFATHER for He did Alot might not be an actor or direct BUT He IS A GREAT BLACK MAN...
