So, What happens when you are the only one at home at 1:00 am and it sounds like a cave in , in your hallway? Ill tell you what happens...you sit up and screem like a banshee ( I now know I can get any part in a horror film) You grab your phone and call 911, ( while you try to stop screaming and form some sort of Intelligent sentence) at the same time remembering I have a flashlight by my bed. The 911 operator is trying to figure out what is going on. Im telling her I think someone broke in and is in the hallway. I turn on the flashlight and shine it towards the hallway ... And there he is. The 911 operator is saying. Whats going onnnnnn????? The next sentence out of my mouth is, Its not human. Yep,,,, the biggest frickin opossum I have ever seen. Evidently hes been freeloading in the attic. He was so fat and heavy that when he walked across the attic door he got an elevator ride to the first floor. The 911 lady proceeded to chew me out for calling them ( it wasnt an emergency) Im still in shock and staring down at a growling granddaddy opossum. It finally went into the bathroom. I gathered up my wits ( what was left of them) went over and closed the bathroom door. Well 4 hours and $340.00 later a 24 hour critter removal service carried him out. My awesome son in law Louis came over to help out. Well, I guess this poor little animal (insert Sarcasm here) was a little stressed. He managed to leave samples of both kinds of his body fluids in the bathroom. My awesome son in law took care of that. All I have to say this morning...Theres just not enough bleach.....
