So What is going to be HOT for the next Year or Two ? My following List may give you some ideas as Books, Movies and Merchandise usually run together. 1.) Fifty Shades of Grey.....Movie is scheduled for release on Feb. 13th (Feb. 14th is Valentines Day so Silk and Handcuffs will be big present items instead of candy this year. LOL) so the books will continue to sell for the next few months with sequels to follow. 2.) Spooks - The Last Aprentice by Joseph Delaney.....Movie coming out. Book series will be popular for the year. 3.) Insurgent by Veronica Roth.....Movie due out in 2015 and book sales will continue to climb. 4.) Mockingjay - Hunger Games movie Part 2 in 2015. Sales of the books continue to be good. 5.) Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.....Once again the classics continue to draw movie-goers and new readers. 6.) Inferno by Dan Brown.....Divinci Code author does it again with another book being made into a new 2015 movie. Sales of books should be good up to the release of the movie and then plummet as they did with the Divinci Code. 7.) A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini author of The Kite Runner.....2015 Movie release. 8.) A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson....This one was kind of a shock as his books have dropped off in popularity but a movie will be released in 2015, so his books should have a renewed interest. 9.) Jungle Book by Kipling.....Once again the classic with a live-action movie in 2015. 10.) Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater.....This authors popularity continues to grow. Her Faerie books are quite popular and her books Shiver and Raven Boys have movie options. This is an author to keep an eye on. 11.) Pride, Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith the author of Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter and Unholy Night (We have both books in stock)......2015 Movie release. 12.) American Sniper by Chris Kyle.....Movie to be leased within days. Even in death he continues to be in the news with Jesse Ventura suing his estate. Most successful U.S. Sniper in history. 13.) Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.......Gaimans books have shot up in popularity and his book American Gods was to be a HBO Movie series but is now moved onto another network and both STARZ and ShowTime have been mentioned. 14.) Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon....Her books have been popular for many years with the Urban Romance- Para-Normal crowd. 2015 Movie release. All of her books should see continued interest. 15.) Dark Places by Gillian Flynn author of Gone Girl. Both Gone Girl movie and book have had great success. Author continues to grow in popularity and will continue to do so with a 2015 movie release. 16.) Fault in Our Stars by John Green....Another one to watch and a 2015 movie release. 17.) P.C. Cast.....Her House of Night series continues to be popular and a scheduled 2015 movie. 18.) Doc Strange....2016 Movie....Been a readers favorite for years. 19.) J.K. Rowlings.....Yes, with a new Book and Movie 2015-16 20.) Dennis Lehane.....His books Mystic River and Shutter Island both enjoyed great success. He has also been a writer on the successful HBO Series The Wire and Boardwalk Empire (One of my favorites) and his book A Drink Before the War is scheduled for a 2015 movie release. 21.) Goosebumps....This series has continued to have success over the past 20 plus years with new readers every year and sales should soar with a new movie to be realeased in 2015.
