The fitness industry has good intentions, of course, these companies want to help you get healthy and lose weight. But keep in mind, they do profit from the purchase you make, convinced that this is your ITfactor. This is why youve failed, so many times! Its because you were missing the key!! These companies that offer shakes, meal replacements, wraps, programs, and more can offer lots of great products and tools; no doubt! But the thing that comes attached to their price tag is their unspoken ultimatum: Their testimonials, their scientific this and that, their experts, want you to believe that you NEED this product, this pill, this program to get healthy. Look at Cathy! She lost 85 lbs. and 62 inches Using Hydroxycut! Theyve taken something so simple: eat good food and exercise, and have made convenient little color coded containers, and powders, to take them to the next, necessary, gotta have it level. Something I want my page to portray is that, you can buy this that and the other to aid you in your weight loss. And if thats ok with you, thats ok with me. But is what youre doing sustainable? Can you do it FOREVER? You know what you never have to stop doing? Ever? Eating and exercising. Eating good food and exercising regularly will always be there. Youre always allowed to do that. The problem I had In the past with every shortcut and miracle product, every registered diet that restricted certain food groups, was that I learned NOTHING about taking care of myself from them. I learned: Follow the program, or fail. There are a million books out there that will tell you carbs are the enemy. Or article upon article that will tell you dairy makes you fat. That you should be gluten free, or vegan, or paleo. Its no wonder losing weight is hard. Look at what were bombarded with! Everyone that says: this is the way! My advice to anyone who needs to know, how to begin, Is to simplify. Dont burden yourself with a regimen you cant keep up with. A pill that turns your stomach or gets you wired. A meal plan that sends you to the poor house. Or food you hate. You can lose fat, build muscle, get healthy, get fit, and use all the tools that The Good Lord gave you: Your body. The earth, and the food that lives and grows on it. This time around, I was successful, because I entered into this journey (the only successful weight loss journey on a very long resume of terminations), KNOWING and ACCEPTING that there is no special miracle product that will do it for me If I am not working hard and educated on what and how Im eating. The journey starts in your old thinking cap. Theres a lot of coming to terms with your body and your food that makes achieving this goal happen. For real.
