So a week ago today I got up not feeling so well which went down hill fast. After three days the fever subsided and GI yukiness continued. By Monday I finally conceded that the week in New Orleans wasnt going to happen and made arrangements for someone to attend in my place. I wasnt getting any strength back at all. Tues morning I finally decided it might be time to see the doctor. Saw his PA, and she decided to draw labs which I had to go to the lab leaving the clinic. Lab drawn at 0945 stat. At 7:00pm I got a call that I needed to go to the ED for an IV because my potassium was 2.4. By the time I got to the ED it was 1.8 so needlesstosay I was admitted which is where remain. Not to good at this side of the business. Keep your fingers crossed that I get it of here today. Supposed to go in Chicago Sunday night for a committee meeting Monday and Tuesday.
