So after all the back and forth & adjustments it seems the orthodics are a dismal failure. He simply cannot adjust to them, we think he finds them uncomfortable and they do not allow for when his paw pads swell up, which is more often than not. There is however a light at the end of the tunnel. We have found a maker of shoes for dogs with a much keener understanding of Finns needs and have begun working with them to come up with a comfortable shoe to protect his paws and allow him to walk outside on something other than the grass. We are excited and hopeful! Keep your fingers crossed for Finn he really wants to go for walks!
