So after everybody learned yesterday that running will kill you, - TopicsExpress

So after everybody learned yesterday that running will kill you, there were a number of conversations (after we were all done ripping on that piece of crap article) about how MOST types of training, taken to any extreme, can have long term negative effects on heart health, joints, etc. and can be potentially unhealthy. Which leads me to this question: HEALTH PROFESSIONALS- your patients with arthritis, joint replacements, cardiovascular problems, liver and kidney issues, etc.- how many of them can attribute their current medical conditions to their overly active lifestyles? Open question. Just curious. Think I kinda know the answer. But dont want any bias here.
