So after much deliberation. Praying. Soul searching. Whatever you call it?! Its sort of come to this... My Bride and I have asked him repeatedly, are you sure this is what you want?! Answer, yes! Thought about it for quite some time! Now mind you, we are constantly asking. Prodding. Poking. Personally, I feel that those that arent involved in their kids heads? Theyve lost em. Just a thought... Backtrack - Our Son, 17 yrs of age. Great kid. Always puts others first. Definitely has a mind of his own! Cracks us up daily! Weve both had numerous conversations, one on one with him, asking whats your plans? Thing is, on his own(no outside help or influence) his response is ya know? I think I wanna join the Army? We were both, taken aback. Now mind you, in my line of work, Ive NEVER served. But Ive trained AND trained with Men and Women. Both physical. And mental, for the last 12 yrs of my life. Its grueling. And I know what these Men and Women, are beyond a doubt, bad motherf***ers! Kudos!! Youve taught me so much!! If only the rest of the sheep were aware...?? Keep in mind - My beautiful Bride and I have ALWAYS taught our kids, (1) RESPECT! Something many of these brats dont have today! (2)live life for yourself! You only have one! (3) make good choices. Even if their the wrong ones? They have to LEARN! If you fall? Get your ass up! Shake it off. Move on!! Doesnt matter, as caring loving Parents, we always have our kids 6! Hands down! And if this is what he wants(believe me!? Weve both tried to sway the decision!) so be it! Now I have many many MANY that are already wanting to talk to him, give him the ins and outs(perks of the job) but assure him that his decision is just that... His! No one elses. With that being said... Milkweed!?... We will always and forever have your 6!! The world is yours! Grab it by the throat! Choke it til it submits!
