Yesterday as I was passing by The Presibiterian University of Eastern Africa, something so amusing happened. It was on such a date some twenty two years ago when Ruth and I were summoned to appear before Mrs. Jenifer Makuba to xplain why we always came late to school. This order was issued by a Ms Elizabeth Okutoyi who by then was our preparatory class teacher..ing from the Mission Hospital direction, Ruth(real name) started calling out, Moni!..Moni!..This is my childhood name given from my favourite Kanda Bongomans hit Inde Moni in the early nineties. This was way back before I met Praxx in 1991. As usual, my twin brother stepped forward. What is it? Of course, he is someone who will step into my shoes, in my presence or absence. From a distance, I could stil watch the long conversation, not until my twin brother promised to narrate to me the whole encounter. I remembered that we had a case to answer to Ms Okutoyi coz I used to wait for her across the river just to make sure that she was safe.
