So, after spending over 8 hours trying to get my laptop functioning on Thursday, it was determined that a Windows update had erased my antivirus software (Kaspersky), which allowed a virus to hit, and the there are some serious disk errors that either need to be fixed (if possible) or my laptop, which is less than 4 months old, will need to be replaced. THANKFULLY, I bought Geek Squad protection at Best Buy when I purchased my laptop in January. The problem is finding time to back up all the files, take it into the store and wait to find out what they are going to do to resolve the issue(s). I keep explaining to them that a web and graphic designer cannot go 2 weeks without their computer!
