So after trying to find some passion fruits here in the States, my awesome sister sent me a dozen. Unfortunately, they didnt make it past the eagle eyes of Immigration and Border Patrol. They confiscated them. Apparently, its quite OK to allow thousands of illegal people carrying diseases ranging from measles to TB to enter our country, but a handful of passion fruits must be jumped on. The passion fruits would have gone straight from the sealed bag she put them in to my freezer to be used as needed. The disease ridden invaders? They get spread all over the country.... Make sense to anyone? Now, just to top it off, we are bringing an unfortunate pair of aid workers carrying the deadliest virus out there..... Isnt government wonderful?
