So all youre really saying, though, is that Chinas smog is similar to that in Los Angeles or Denver during the American boom time of the 1960s, when the economy was strong because the middle class was strong and the poor had a safety net. This is Chinas boom time, and China is taking steps to correct their pollution, just like we did and continue to try to do even though were now drifting toward third world status with just two classes, the rich and the poor while China steps front and center stage on the world economy.
