So an interesting roleplaying aspect I am facing for 5-20 next week that I am hoping to play at PaizoCon. The NPC Venture-Captain, Nikolai Adonai, is an actual players character. My 11.2 Dwarven fighter that is playing in the scenario has actually gone on four or five scenarios and adventured with Nikolai, including witnessing Nikolai die once (No Plunder No Pay). As a GM, I ran the first game Nikolai ever went on as a Pathfinder (Mists of Mwangi), GMed another 8-10 games he was a character, and GMed him through the full Eyes of Ten Series. I will be very interested to see how other GMs run him, especially with my characters prior adventuring with the NPC when he was an actual PC. If you were the GM, how would you handle it? Im also GMing this at PaizoCon UK so that table is in for something special as I really know the ins and outs of the NPC.
