So, as I was prepping for tomorrow’s bible study, I found myself trying to understand String Theory…lucky for me…there are LOTS of websites that help tone down the data to a 3rd grade level I can understand. ^_^ Now, we all know God spoke the world into existence…but watch this: The smallest unit of matter was well known to be an atom until not too far back it was found that the atom is actually made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. To go a little further, protons are made up of smaller pieces - quarks, and electrons are made up of smaller pieces called leptons. So as of now, you could say the smallest unit of matter is a quark or a lepton depending on which is smaller. These discoveries lead towards String Theory. According to String Theory, every particle at its most microscopic level consists of varying combinations of vibrating strings/strands, each with its preferred patterns of waves/vibrations. Now, with that said check out how Sound is explained: Sound is a mechanical wave that results from the back and forth vibration of particles through which the sound wave is moving. So, you could say…it looks like Science is on track towards something the bible told us long ago… God SPOKE the world into existence. Every particle at its most microscopic level is essentially just sound waves. (Hebrews 11:3 - By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.)
