So as Im getting out of my car in front of my house there is a young girl and boy riding their bikes on my street. The young lady, as Im getting out of my car, asks me in the most polite way, excuse me sir, I noticed your lawn wasnt cut. Do you want your lawn cut?. I replied, no thank you, I usually cut my grass but I appreciate the offer. I was proud for all of two seconds. Then these thoughts came to mind: 1., I heard the little boy put her up to asking me. Had he asked me I might have considered it. 2., how you a boy and gonna have a girl ask a grown man if she can cut my lawn?! They looked the same age mind you! If anything HE looked older. Im not knockin the hustle but parents what are we teaching our kids?! 3., Im for equal opportunity in females and males but their is no way Im having a lil girl cut my grass when Im able to. Even if I wasnt physically able to, no haps!! Now if she was MY daughter, hell yeah if she was able. Dont get it twisted, daddys little girl will be cutting grass. But not no strangers. Conclusion: there is something wrong in the core when this is able to happen. The black family unit is broken. (Obviously not all, but most).
