So, as quite a few of you know, a terrible incident occurred last - TopicsExpress

So, as quite a few of you know, a terrible incident occurred last Friday 14th at Glebelands primary school in chatteris where a group of 5-6 thugs attacked a girl & her brother outside the school gates as they were on their way to pick their children up. I personally dont know which is worse; the fact that it happened in broad daylight outside of a school where there were impressionable young children about, or that there were 5 against 2 & someone obviously cant count, or that half the people involved had no reason to be, or the fact that it all started because my friend asked a lad to stop cursing in front of her 3 small children and niece (on school grounds) at the beginning of the week, or that the girls daughter had to watch from a distance, as her mums head was repeatedly being stamped on, before being pulled back into class crying, or that there were dozens upon dozens of spectators but not one person has come forward and offered to be a witness to help prevent this from happening in the future. Whatever happened to having a rational, civilised conversation to resolve differences?! My friend has never hurt anyone and its disgusting that you cant even ask someone to be mindful of their language nowadays without being threatened or getting your head kicked in!! If theres one thing experience has taught me its that people who lack intellect and moral fibre tend to engage in violence. Imagine if that was your child, friend or relative? How would you feel? Youd soon expect someone to rush to your aid or help stop a perpetrator in their tracks. By not coming forward, especially during anti-bullying week, youre condoning the violence & in turn - what message is that sending out to the children? Ive never once expected someone to do something for me without being willing to do the same for them in return! Nobodys asking people to get involved or pick sides...They just need to describe the sequence of events that occurred during the incident last Friday to help further police in their enquiry. I urge anyone who saw what went on last Friday 14th November to do your good deed for the day, speak up and help keep our kids and the innocent safe!!!! Please dial 101 and quote crime reference number CF0442531114. Share this if you can?! (For the kids, if not for anyone else) Thank you x
