So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, where your ancestors tested and tried me, though for forty years they saw what I did. That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ” See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, believing heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. Hebrews 3:7-12 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. Hebrews 4:2 And what is Faith? 1. confidence or trust in a person or thing: 2. belief that is not based on proof: 3. belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion: 4. belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, etc.: So where have you put your Faith? The Scriptures tell us of how God became flesh, yet flesh without sin, who became the only possible sacrifice to redeem us to God. John 14:6 tells us that Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. I say open your eyes and look around. We are living in times where nations are against nations and people groups are against people groups. What is evil is on the rise and what is good is being condemned. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:7-13 I say strengthen your Faith and stand strong.
