So big news regarding my neck! The research team at Northern Arizona State University has been interested in my case, and they have reached out to my family and me, and have offered to help us tremendously. They are going to pay for two MRIs (before and after), all the prolotherapy I will go through, and the anesthesia! All I have to do in return is give them my data and progress. Easy enough, right? I start prolotherapy in a couple weeks, which includes injections every other week for 6 weeks. They will be injecting a non-active solution between the vertebras and joints in my neck, to help rebuild the cartilage and tissue that has disintegrated over the past few years. Nervous doesnt even begin to explain how I feel about needles being stuck in my spine… Cross your fingers for me that this will be the last thing I have to endure, and surgery wont have to be an option. So grateful for my family and friends who have had much patience with me through this neck pain and the constant irritation that comes with it. And I will also be forever grateful for Northern Arizona State for saving my family thousands of dollars.
