So big old bpd follow up appointment was today!!! 3 1/2hrs later...got an overall good report! Our little man is 11lbs 13oz..21inches long. We have a short round baby: ) so after discussion with nutritionist-who is very good, we are going to let Ryan be the boss. She wants us to only feed when he is queuing and let him have what he wants-No more than 3 1/2 oz at a time. I was very relieved and think he will do great on it- see they want to slow down his weight gain and let his height catch up..perfect timing. We are no longer so restricted to what was impressed on us when we left the hospital. They thought he looks good, gave us some developmental exercises to do with him and checked his electrolytes--he got an awesome camo band aide! Other than that we will see them in a month and hopefully remove something he is on!! Prayers for Ryan to continue to thrive at home and protection from germs!!
