So call me a bad planner...I deserve it....but Im taking my son camping for several days starting this Saturday. My goal is to head north and eventually enjoy the Big Sur redwoods, stopping along the way....does anyone know of any dispersed, off road sites between L.A. And Big Sur where we can pitch a couple of tents? Any hidden gems to share? Im open to any and all suggestions....I figure well need to get a motel at some point during our adventure.
