So day 5 of #jendefeatsherdemons is in the books. I came out of the gates blazing- more determined than I had ever been. Josh and I decided to do this 2 months ago, but I had some things to work out in my own head first. First two days were good with workouts and food. This early on my main focuses are changing my diet and getting into a regular routine of exercise. Saturday had me feeling off. By 7 pm, I had hit a wall. It took everything I had to make it through the rest of the night. Sunday, I severely overslept for church, not waking until noon. And I only woke then, because Izaac woke me up. I was worse than the day before. I remember making the boys a snack before church. The next 3 hours are gone for me. Josh says I took a shower, got out, and then passed out on the bed. He says I was asking where I was, acting weird, then fell asleep for the next couple of hours. Our best guess- my sugar crashed. Maybe too much too soon. So, baby steps for me. Tonights dinner has grilled chicken, couscous, and steamed veggies with broccoli. Trying to eat better carbs, so I dont crash again. Im hoping to get back to exercise tomorrow. I never thought Id say that.
