So did you see it.... The men that made us thin - this week exercise. Did it come as a surprise to hear that exercise does NOT make us thin!!! Think about the maths a bar of chocolate and packet of crisps everyday means just to maintain weight you need to do 60 minutes aerobics so how much more would you need to do to lose weight and do you actually have the time??? So should you ditch the gym, hang up your trainers and head for the couch?? No exercise DOES Exercise reduces your risk of heart disease and stroke by increasing HDL (good) cholesterol and reducing blood pressure Promotes insulin sensitivity reducing the risk of diabetes and insulin resistance further reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease Increase bone and muscle mass Reduces dementia, anxiety and depression More importantly by choosing the right kinds of exercise you can change your body composition and improve your shape. Isn’t it all about liking the way we look and feeling fantastic?????
