So, even though we received our vehicle today, I finally received a response from the SDDC IG and Im disappointed to say the least: Ms. Griffith, Your e-mail discusses a lot of issues but I am not sure exactly what specific assistance you want from the IG. We have heard reports that POVs are arriving with damage that was not there when the vehicle was shipped. Once your POV arrives you will have an opportunity to inspect the vehicle and to file a claim thru IAL. When you do the inspection I highly recommend you take pictures of any damage. If you have issues with the claim we can assist. We understand that the IAL website is not up to date. But the fact that someone from IAL contacted you w/ your vehicle ETA is a good thing. If you need assistance in tracking your POV if it does not arrive on 15 Aug please let me know So pretty much I dont know what you want me to do because you were FINALLY get a hold of someone and they gave you some bit of info (whether correct or not). She then proceeded to tell me I needed to contact the AF IG since that us our branch...last I checked, the AF didnt award the contract, SDDC did, and I want you to be AWARE of the situation that you have placed your government employees in!!! This woman is so worthless, she should get a job at IAL...
