So every day at 11am Stella goes down for a nap. Today I went in and laid her down and she started crying, immediately stood up and was reaching for me. Looking for love or her teeth are bugging her. I picked her and her deedee (blanket) up and sat with her laying in my arms in the wing back chair. Nearly dark in her room we can still see one another. As she laid in my arms and myself rubbing her back she literally stared into my eyes with very few blinks for a good ten minutes or so never looking away once. I kissed her on the forehead and she shut her eyes to fall asleep as if she felt safe and that it was ok to finally close her eyes!! My heart melts
