So excited to have Liza Brown on our line up for your listening pleasure!! Here is a brief outline taken from her web page. Tansi! I am a Cree/Métis woman who grew up North of the Saskatchewan River. I fell in love with the music world at a young age when I discovered the mysterious and exciting qualities of music suited my introspective nature. I am greatly influenced by classic country, folk and the rhythm & blues, but do love many other genres. I would describe my music as contemporary Aboriginal /Country/Folk/Blues genre. My first CD is titled “Facing the Storm” and the songs on it are about love and heartbreak, survival, remembering, resilience, joy in life, and letting go and being open to new growth.
