So far June is looking like it is more like May normally is like - TopicsExpress

So far June is looking like it is more like May normally is like for us. The soil is supersaturated with moisture from the rain we have been getting. This rain may actually begin to catch us up from the deficit we currently are in for the year to date. Although, it does make getting back into the garden a bit difficult. I delayed putting in some of my garden because of wanting the plants to get a little larger. A week ago when the rains were steadily starting up again I decided to delay putting the plants in the ground because we were expecting heavy rains, strong winds and hail. I am still thinking it was a good idea to delay getting the rest of my plants in the ground. They may of not made it through the weather if they were just planted in the ground the day before the storm. At the beginning of this week, the weather next week was looking favorable for getting more plants in the garden. Now I am not sure, there is a lot of rain in the forecast. I guess we will see how it goes. How are your gardens going for you? Are you still waiting to get some of your garden in the ground?
