Kevin Page Nick Bibby Tommy Taylor Andy Moxey Kevin Smith Shaun Slater Paul Ashford(Ottery st Mary) I joined Ottery just after they had won the western league first division and were promoted to the premier division but i had to find my feet with the reserves for a good 4,months before i made my 1st team debut and thats where i met Ashy(Paul ashford) local lad and real character..we hit it off straight away and he was my minder on the pitch..fearless player and as brave as they come..but he could play as well but even when he was wound up or angry he had a smile on his face...he was a big influence on and off the pitch and the team joker..nothing was taboo or out of bounds with ashy!! He looked after me and anybody who tried to take liberties with any of us on the pitch...he had his own brand or retribution..lol!! Top bloke Darren(lovejoy)Clifford(Horse&Groom) Im smiling already...i liked Lovejoy the moment i met him and he could play football..well when he wanted to..lol!! More often or not he would walk into the changing room with the look of someone who hadnt slept for a week. He was a clever player and his decision making on the pitch was was more often or not spot on he could see a pass and do things with the minimum of fuss and effort...very dry sense of humour with a touch of sarcasm..but i got him and i really enjoyed playing along side him...not seen Lovejoy for a while but Ill always concider him a top man and a good friend!!! Darren Jarman(Horse&Groom) One of my best mates and I love him dearly....one of the most laid back and gifted players Ive had the pleasure to have played along side,hes so laid back you could turn him on to his chest and use him as a surfboard with that nose of his acting as a fin!!! But he could play football and some but Im not sure he got the credit or recognition he deserved or maybe football wasnt the end all and be all to him!! But when called upon he could deliver a tackle like a silent assassin,good in possession and could easily find a pass and keep the temple of the game flowing and the but of most of the changing room banter...but without doubt one of the most popular and likeable players in any changing room...loved being his team mate and love him more as a friend...top man!!!! Just 2,more to go!!
