So far in a mere three months hundreds of people have shook our hands for doing what we do and really, alls we do is run. One thing I feel bad about is the co-founder of our team, Carlos. He is a proud, ambitious and hopeful Mexican-American who gets dirty looks and hate from other Mexican-Americans. Regardless, he remains respectful and kind. Last night after a guy glared at him Carlos says, I think Im going to run with the Mexican flag on September 16th so my own people know Im proud of my Mexican heritage. Then Carlos added, ...for once I will have love from my own people. Come September 17th its back to the same old b.s. Hahahaha!!! Great job Carlos. Keep your head up bro!!! Youve seen and been through circumstances and situations most cant hack in their own worst nightmares, and you set a great example as a great leader in this community. Our community and our nations finest are regularly coming up to us, shaking our hands and telling us we inspire hope. Dont let anything get you down, man!
