So far so good. Rom.Com has many more places to go, and hopefully will strike as much of a chord with people elsewhere as it did with a little more than house full Gyan Manch last evening. Godspeed. My fingers were itching to thank Sounak Shanky Roy when we released Abhishek Sen and Venugopal Ks looks, but couldnt. Lets not break the illusion and all that. But its rather indispensable. Hes the man behind the camera, the man behind how the people on social media first received the duo. Its been an amazing week long experience (no, not my way of trying to earn further brownie points on behalf of the whole team) working so incredibly closely with such an efficient team. You have an idea and Abhyam Shukla Radha Saikia Sreya Saha and Alokananda Das will give it a form and put it on stage and make it look great enough to leave even the actors baffled. Its all in the timing they say and Apratim Chattaraj, you got it just right. As somebody who watched the play so closely, I am in awe of how Soumendra Bhattacharya Aritra Sengupta and Agni Debburman breathe life into mere texts on sheets of paper. Efficiency and effort and the extremely difficult amalgamation of the two is what I realized I need to imbibe from D Ibyendu Trfdr. And then theres always that magician behind the lights console... Subhrajyoti Basu. I will be indulging in gross underestimation if I state that the real hero of the play is actually the writing. :) As a long overdue good nights sleep awaits me, I am left wishing for something as beautiful as the one Abhi and Venu shared. So far so good.
