So far what I envision if re-elected: I look forward to and advocate a back to the basics approach to council discussions and decisions. Preparing ourselves for future challenges is imperative alongside maintaining and providing cost effective and efficient Municipal services to our community. We need to focus on attracting population growth, business expansion and retention outside of Municipal operation and ownership as well as protecting our lake and agricultural land. We must focus on keeping taxes affordable. If re-elected I will concentrate on the basics of municipal services, appreciate and maintain the current assets in our Municipality. As well appreciating the rich arts, culture and heritage resources in our Municipality including its natural heritage must be partnered with increased support from the Municipality. They will continue to be major economic drivers in our community. The health and vitality of downtown cores will always be a passion and commitment of mine alongside the health and safety of our constituents including medical-care and emergency services. I will continue to ask questions, do my research, listen to constituents and make decisions that reflect what I hear and learn from the people.
