So football practice has begun for my youngest again. This means that I now find myself having to sit in town and sit still, for 2 hours at a time, twice a week. I know I should be intently watching my son have fun(trust me I am trying), but instead my mind is working in overdrive and I sit here thinking about all of the things I could and should be doing. Its horrible, I should be enjoying this great down time, but I have been so busy lately that it is really hard to do. So I thought maybe I would take some of this time and distract myself with showing you all some updated pictures of the work we are getting done. It is still amazing to me how well things are moving, even with the few hiccups we have come across. We have gotten all of the electical done and put in where it belongs, most of the floor sheeting down that needed replaced, the well up and running, the plumbing checked with only minor repairs needed. We started working on drywall last week and by the time I left today we had 2 bedrooms, my soap room, the kitchen/dining room and part of the living room walls up. This weekend was focused on putting on the new roof, and minus the one sheet we were short, that is done now too. It really feels like we are getting somewhere! We started with a disaster, took it down to a shell and now it is beginning to look like a house again....an almost brand new house! I cant even express how exciting this is, maybe I cant express it well because of the state of exhaustion and soreness I have become accustome to being in. Anyhow, just wanted to check in and update you all. Hope you enjoy the pictures and I am going to go back to smiling and enjoying watching my boy run this football.
