So for months everyone has been asking what they can do for Dad, and I finally came up with a good idea, thanks in large part to the inspiration of the beautiful and talented Miss Emma Meyer, daughter of Theresa Knipstein Meyer, and John. (Hi, John!) Dad is now staying at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and we took a gander today at the facilitys library. The pickings are pretty slim, maybe 100 books which are mostly 10-15 years old. The library could use an upgrade, so Im asking everyone to consider donating a book or a few to the cause, hardback or paperback, they need anything. You can either drop them off at 2827 Northgate, drop them off for me at church or send me a note and Ill try to come get them. Im warning you, though, it might be a month or so before I can come get them because my schedule is a little unplannable at this point. Or you can take them when you go visit Dad. Hes in room 528. I wouldnt try to see him during the morning because hes pretty busy then.
