So for those of you who dont know and for those of you who do. Helen was playing on a new type of monkey bars(the bars swing) and slipped off falling down on her bottom. We took her directly to the ER in Lititz Pa. after they took X-rays they said she may have crushed her fifth vertebrae on her lower lumbar. They decided to move her by ambulance to Hershey Med childrens neuro unit. As we entered the Neuro trauma unit we were slightly overwhelmed by the fact that they had ten to fifteen people comprising of Dr.s and nurses. They did an X-Ray on her neck and later a cat scan on her lower back then sent all of us to her room for the night. (Pictures of the room to follow) to wait for the results of the X-rays and cat scan. May I also say that we called and had quite a few of you praying. Thank you. The doctors have been coming in all morning starting at 5am to say that her spine is in tip-top shape, she just has a bruised back. Praise God! thank you all for your continued prayers and for your love.
