So frustrated...this surgery and recovery crap is never fun BUT I feel like I am making no progress. I have a high tolerance for pain(gave birth with zero pain meds and with my appendix surgery only took pain meds while in the hospital) today I took a pain pill before my appointment cuz I knew theyd be poking around...the doc told me I should no longer need the pain meds and to kist use Advil, so the last pain pill I took was about 1015a and by 6pm I was in so much pain that I was shaky, sweating and feeling like I was going to vomit so I gave in and took a pain pill and in about an hour I was feeling better. I understand they want you to stop using them as soon as possible but I am STILL in significant pain and a week out I would assume I should be feeling lots better and I am not!!! Now I am torn between calling my doc and telling him I need more pain meds because I still hurt or do I suck it up and deal with the pain!! I am thinking the more pain i am in the longer its gonna take to heal and I am already way behind where I think I should me! Thoughts, opinions, your personal experience with gallbladder surgery would be greatly appreciated!
