So, funny story on the way to a structure fire......I came across another one. I had to call it in to 911..........so bird in the hand thing I stayed to cover this one. Felt sheepish about it, LOL, photographer on scene of a structure fire, calls it in, ready with turnouts, LOL.....Yeah that dont look suspicious. (Lucky for me, it was a rekindle of an earlier fire.) Talked with the Batt Chief, and he authorized me to go up the ladder, and go interior. LOL, he knew of me. I guess my rep is preceding me.......honored to know. Granted this was a minor fire, but got a few great shots. God, I love my job.
