So glad I went to Moya Brennan-An Irish Christmas concert at the MIM. The music is a total departure from what I prefer and gravitate towards (Jazz, Classical). Its great to get out of your comfort zone and try something different, sure makes life interesting and you learn so much more. The first time I heard her sing, I thought to myself, hmmm, she sounds like Enya (who I love). Well, guess what Moya happens to be Enyas sister! They equally have the most haunting, exquisite, beautiful voice. Tonight was such a treat and at the end of the concert it was great Moya had the audience participate in a sing-a-long which I think is so fun and making it interactive is so important. She put a Celtic spin on one of the traditional Christmas song, Deck the Halls! Was so much fun. If the truth be known I went to tonights concert for my dad, who passed away, it will be 2 years on 12/19 and he loved Celtic music, he was Irish 100%, through and through. youtu.be/5KaTQN40Hmw?list=UUv57phYbucgc6Z0aHk5pvtA
