So glad you have chosen the taxpayers and their representatives on the North Bay Taxpayers Association as your designated opponents in the upcoming election. (1) Yes the NBTA cast a negative pall over the lack of oversight and professionalism when it came to procurement procedures, prudent spending , botched contracts, low productivity and bloated salaries , staff levels and benefits...... Your Response ......Attack and denigrate the messengers even after all we had proclaimed came true and was validated with no oversight over a major project and the blindsided spending of over 4 million of our taxpayers dollars.......Oh yes Ms. Vrebosch ......you have done a commendable job of pumping sunshine and defending the indefensible when it came to city staff....... I find you a very likable personality and a very tenacious lady who would be far better suited to gaining some real life experience in the private sector and then ,,,possibly 20 years down the line or so offering up your values to a much smaller venue like Corbeil or Redbridge. On close observation I have discerned among others that you may be in way over your capacity and experience . It does show. I would strongly support you to head up the Friends Of The Waterfront committee or The Firemans Ball but attaining a position of leadership when someone is entirely dependent on staff controlling their every move is not what we need on council. Even if like yourself they are very nice people ,and have a well known family name . Name recognition goes a long way in this sleepy town though and it would not surprise me if it carried you through. Good luck....and let the campaign begin.
