So good news is Eagle marine called today saying your boat is done. Yay! Then they say we have a couple of suggested services. One being that our sending unit (sends a message to your gas gauge) has broken off and is wedged in the gas receiver tube and vent. That was the first thing we told them to fix and the main reason we brought the boat in! Sheesh! So we are looking at about 2700 dollars for everything. Most of it is labor. Sounds like a lot but we asked them to do so many things. Service the motors, Bend out the damage on the rim from the blow-out and replace the led light that was damaged when it happened. Also replace another led light that was out. Fix the bilge and a full service on the trailer. Make the horn work, New fuel lines, And new valves on the big motor. Oh and a new wiring harness, that was totally our fault though when Mike installed the boat guides he pinched the old one off. So now its a little more waiting and the boat should be perfect! We LOVE this boat and are not sorry we bought her even a little. Its our forever boat! Just want her to be at her best. Its a great feeling to know we covered everything. This will be the test to see if Eagle Marine does everything they said they would. Since we had the boat in the shop anyways we thought we should take care of everything. We never miss a service on our vehicles and they last forever so the boat shouldnt be any different. Now just counting the days until we get her home. We miss her so much and our driveway looks so bare. lol. And we sure want to take her out for some salmon fishing very soon. Hurry up and give our boat back please. If you cant tell I am very impatient! lol.
