So grateful that I can get off work and spend time with my baby... Not every mother has that and certainly not every single mother. Im blessed. Some things people find to complain about just baffle me. Life is good, we have more than so many and there are people in a stones throw of your home that are struggling with real, true crisis .... Somethings just seem so insignificant to me. Maybe Im the pretentious one.... I believe my child will be taught graciousness by serving humanity, that shell learn to be grateful and empathetic through acts of humility and that she does things for others out of love and collective respect. Maybe Ive seen too much ugliness or reality or struggle to be able to handle anything less than compassion and understanding from people toward others. You dont know someones story by the way their car seat is/isnt installed or how they buy their groceries.... And its not your job to. Its our job only to love. Especially if you claim to be a Christian, its pretty well documented that Jesus didnt care about the superficial or traditions or anything other than lovingly offering grace and building up a persons or peoples spirit. Look for similarities, stop looking at where youre better. No one life is more valuable than the other simply for their material possessions or way they were raised.... When I started hanging out with a group of girls in Dallas, one of them told the other She doesnt strike me as the type to wear pearls ..... Maybe not, maybe my pearl necklace was different than hers ; ) but guess what? Doesnt matter. Judge a person by the content of their character... *steps off soap box
