So happily canning away, suddenly realize I have wrong kind of pectin. Ok, well the hot pepper jelly has to sit for half-hour anyway, thatll give me time, right? Well, Safeway had lids, no pectin, Riteaid had lids & jars, no pectin, and it wasnt until Albertsons that we found liquid pectin. By the time the girls & I got home it was close to an hour later. And guess what? I now have a batch of hot pepper toffee, and its pretty damn good! *grin*
