So happy that Liz Liz Young Appel finally made it down to hunt with me! It was just the motivation I needed to trace clip the boys the day before. We hollered on a coyote leaving the woods north of darkie house and viewed him again crossing the 23 acres with the hounds in hot pursuit. Liz, you were such a trooper for the cliff diving on horseback episode of hound wrangling we did, but I knew you and Gar (aka Mr. Mountain Goat) could handle it! Finn proved to be brave and bold and the ultimate ATV/Duck Boat and more than redeemed himself for the previous days near the ear clipping episode which included me getting up close and personal with the concrete floor in my barn (Xylazine is on his menu for next year’s clipping)! Gar was an unsedated angel to clip of course. It was a fabulous day out hunting and I really enjoyed catching up and watching you and Gar strut your stuff over all those coops. You rode him so well, and I wouldn’t lend my special baby out to just anyone. Thanks for the goodies and I hope you can come back soon. Give a hug to Dixon Appel and the rest of my The Moingona Hunt friends. Looking forward to Kansas in 2014. Gar and I will miss you until then!
