So here I am with my dom kop headed to the old lady selling food around the corner to get myself something to eat. As I walk past the guys both middle aged and old eating their lunch outside under a tree shade one of them asks me: Why are you going to buy food from the street while you work in Marketing?. At the back of my mind, Im like Dont answer him Des (as I could end up embarrassing the old crock) and rubbed it off with a simple joke. Here is my logic with buying food, if there is a Mother at the corner probably with a couple of kids at home and the grandchildren all looking up to her as a bread winner, yes you guessed it right Id rather support their business operations. And then you have these well established fast food outlets which most probably are owned by white foreigners or the canteen which the profit of the operation is usually used for taking a Ben 10 out to a date and some fancy places. Id rather spend my money where I know its most needed. Please dont tell me that you dont share the same sentiments.
