So here it is!!! - OMG!!!! Still recovering from Rose City Swing. I have a feeling it might take the rest of the week. Mentally and physically it was off the chain. The workshops! The comps! Late night dancing!!!! I dont know where to begin. Babak and Trudy you nailed it! First Trudy thank you for letting up stay at ur beautiful castle and sleep on a cloud of a bed! Bobby ur energy and love is infectious! The late night dancing was something special that all the DJs worked so hard to provide for us. As a follow you dont always get a chance to dance to everyone song you want to cause lets face it some times there just arent enough men (which wasnt a big problem this weekend) but if you missed a good song you wanted to dance to it was okay cause you knew another one was coming up next. The energy was insane starting the first night and I think a big part if it had to do with the fact they committed to a dry event. Ppl danced all night and then it carried over to the next morning where Ive never seen so many ppl in a 10am workshop before in my life. So much learning and hunger and all the staff members provided deliciousness for the brain!!! So yummy! :0) So proud of how hard my other half works. It was special to me to see all the late night phone conversations between Piper and Kevin come to life on the dance floor. Their attention to detail is inspiring and motivational to me. Shanti! I love you and am so happy I got extra time on the car ride with you to connect. The swing world is lucky to have you and your fierceness for this dance not only to dance but to teach and for life itself is going to rock this world we live in. Tashina!!!! Loved getting a chance to hang out with you more this weekend! Your workshop with Piper was my favorite!!! You took a simple exercise I do on my own with my swing and took it to a place that blows my mind! Thank you. AND at the end of the weekend I must say Ive never gotten such an awesome award that I wore all the drive home and am still currently wearing... I feel like a princess! So much love in our community and this event was a model of broadcasting such love and the dancing was only a fraction of what made this weekend it was really the people. I love you ALL!!! Thank you so much for your support to me and my family! See you in a few weeks at City if Angles!
