So here it is..the irony that is called life! Came home, saw a hurt pigeon flopping, flapping, and limping around while banging into walls. I ran into the house to get a blanket to pick him up. Put him in a box. Gave him some water. Called every animal rescue phone number and found a bird rescue lady who will figure out what to do. Drove half an hour to her..opened the box to reveal my wounded bird... Omg! It was fine. Prancing around mocking me (I say this in a very loving tone because I am so glad he was ok). So I drove all the way home to release him back to his family in the morning...here is the irony. I had Quail for dinner!! Payback time!
