So heres a sense of something coming around full circle. Growing up, it took me until hitting my preteen years or so that there was really a different path for me, one that was different from the one my father followed as a musician-turned-computer-programmer. So Im following that path now, aiming to be a writer and what not, but in the last couple of years, I split my focus to cover game design too. And now, as Im looking at the Unity engine site and contemplating checking out more basic game design software, I realize that this path would have to encompass computer programming to some level, and that maybe my path isnt so different. This doesnt drive me crazy like it would anyone else, but man, cant help but wonder if you can only make your choices once in this world. Ive chosen writing, thats for sure, but can I choose game design too? Well have to see, but most people probably know I have done so. Word on that, guys. Word on that.
