So heres a weekly update. Had a game against Stallions today at our home ground. Stallions elected to bat first and what a setback to our bowlers. Stallions made magnificent 177 in just twenty overs. Some poor feilding by Corona Lions Cricket Club. CLCC was given a target of 178 in 20 overs to accomplish. Not an easy one to achieve. Did they make it??? Yes, Of-course... Sunny and Sandeep were sent out to bat by Skippy Barjinder Singh. Both started out fairly well. Some sensible shots at not so hitting mode to begin with. Soon Sunny lost his wicket in 6th over and Skippy himself took the charge in his hands and built a great partnership with Sandeep Kumar. CLCC lost second wicket in 11th over. 3rd in 12th over. Great shots played by Barjinder, SimranDeep Sodhi for 4th wicket partnership of 50 plus and then came Aman Batta and Mickey in 14th over when team needed 58 in 6 overs and they both held the nerve preety well and accomplished when they were sent for. They both made 60 in 4 overs and Team chased 178 in 18 overs with 6 wickets in hands. Great game guys. Hope you all enjoyed Paranthas.
